The terms, in plain words

Version 2026-09-25 · Max Clipz is in early access.

Anything marked PLACEHOLDER is not settled yet — it needs a lawyer's eye before Max Clipz charges anyone.

What Max Clipz does

Max Clipz watches game footage you give it, finds your plays, and cuts them into montages. The cutting runs on one Mac that Terrell runs. You give it footage two ways:

Your footage has to be yours

Only give Max Clipz footage you recorded yourself, or footage you have the rights to use. Not someone else's stream, not a TV broadcast, not a video you found.

Before anything is uploaded or pulled, you check one box — "This is my own video" — for an upload or a link. Checking it is you saying the footage is yours. On an upload, the job records your check, the time the job was made, and which version of these terms was up. On a link, the job is marked as your own video. Nothing is uploaded or pulled without it.

If someone shows us that footage on Max Clipz is theirs, we take it down. PLACEHOLDER — the formal copyright takedown contact and process.

Deleting

SETTINGS → DELETE (two taps) removes your montages and their files, your uploads, your jobs, your comments and your account. A copy someone downloaded before that is outside Max Clipz.

The legal part

PLACEHOLDER — needs a lawyer: the legal name of who runs Max Clipz, a contact address, warranty and liability limits, which state's law applies, how these terms change and how you are told, the privacy policy (what Google Firebase keeps about your account: your email, your sign-in, your files), and the minimum age.
